- Q: What hardware and software are required to run AdChiosk?
A: Any hardware with Windows, Linux ( any flavour ) including embeded
devices, preferrably with a high quality graphical display, 256 MB RAM,
2 GB HardDisk or more.
- Q: How do I pronounce AdChiosk?
A: As in Ad Kiosk.
- Q: What does AdChiosk do?
A: AdChiosk is a Ad display software that has facilities to
create, customise, schedule and play your content onto your kiosk or display screens for 24x7.
The information that you enter includes information window, web pages and multimedia file. AdChiosk
has it's own inbuilt animation and now it also supports playing your flash file directly.
- Q: What is AdChiosk use for?
A: Just like TV commercial and looks like it without having the
need to pre-record into a video file. It does it on the fly and you can easily update it there and then.
With that, basically, if you need a panel to display active contents continously on a high traffic area,
examples Ads, product prices,information, pictures, videos etc... Or it also can be use in offices
and factories that needs a software to display real time or static information constantly.
- Q: What products do I need?
A: If you have your multimedia, web pages and graphical files
ready, you just need to download AdChiosk basic. We also
provide the free designer to allows you to create and
customise your information window as well as AdChiosk animation effortlessly.
For as little as $18, you can get AdChiosk Scheduler to manage and test your schedules.
Otherwise it perfectly fine to use a text editor to edit the xml content for scheduling your tasks.
- Q: Businesses
A: It's perfectly fine to use our free basic edition for your own small
businesses. However we strongly recommend you to go for the pro or business edition for a better visual
experience.
- Q: In the pipeline?
A: We are targeting to release the flash authoring tools by Jan 2008,
which allows you to create and manage your flash content.
Also, in the pipeline, we plan to develop a full dot net player by next spring.
